The manufacturer Genesis is known for its gaming peripherals, which combine high performance with low prices. The manufacturer is now following up the Thor 303 TKL keyboard with a model with a new name, the Genesis Thor 303 TKL Silent Switch, which features particularly quiet mechanical switches.

Genesis Thor 303 TKL Silent Switch presented

The Genesis Thor 303 TKL Silent Switch is a new version of the already available Thor 303 TKL, which is offered with the particularly quiet Outemu Peach Silent switches.

The mechanical switches are interchangeable and feature a fast response time, a 2mm actuation point, and a lower trigger force of 40G, making them softer to press than traditional red or brown switches. At the same time, they are 30% quieter than brown switches and offer a life cycle of 50 million clicks.

Hot-Swap technology is a major distinguishing feature of the Thor 303 TKL models. It allows the switches to be replaced immediately. The corresponding tool is included in the delivery.

Aluminum housing and software

The Genesis Thor 303 TKL Silent Switch also features a high-quality aluminum body with attractive RGB backlighting, also featuring the PRISMO effect. A total of 25 lighting modes are available. Further adjustments are also possible in the supplied software. Macros can also be created here.

The updated version of the Thor 303 TKL features improved stabilizers, which are also pre-lubricated and thus not only enable quieter operation, but also reflect key movements even more smoothly.

The manufacturer has also installed high-quality and durable double-shot PBT keycaps, while the keyboard features full N-key rollover, onboard memory, and multimedia keys. It can be used with Android and Windows from version 7.
