Behind the scenes | Hammers launch 1960s-inspired home kit

Go behind the scenes of the video shoot of our 2024/25 home kit with West Ham TV cameras!

We launched our Home Kit for the new campaign on Wednesdayrevealing a design inspired by our golden age of the 1960s, which saw us win titles on both the domestic and continental stages.

The launch was accompanied by a cinematic launch film, featuring some of the club’s best-known supporters, including film and television stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Tony Way and Harry Collett, alongside 1965 Cup Winners’ Cup legend Brian Dear and Roberta Moore, daughter of the late, great West Ham and England captain Bobby Moore. It also features today’s stars including Jarrod Bowen and future prospect George Earthy.

The film is accompanied by a specially commissioned soundtrack by The Rifles, which was mastered at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in St John’s Wood. Hammers fan and singer Joel Stoker was so taken with the instrumental version that he wrote the lyrics and recorded the track ‘Sweet Euphoria’ with the band to release as a single in conjunction with the new Home Kit.

Filming took place at E.Pellicci, the best-preserved old school café in Bethnal Green, right in the heart of West Ham United’s East End.

This bold kit celebrates memories of our past triumphs, whilst showing how the determination, spirit and style of the teams that won the FA Cup and UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in consecutive seasons, whilst also playing a pivotal role in England’s victorious 1966 World Cup campaign, paved the way for the club as it is today.
