Michael Olise ready to ‘win titles’ with Bayern Munich

Michael Olise is ready to “win as many titles as possible” with Bayern Munich after being announced as a Bundesliga player.

The Crystal Palace star has signed a five-year deal with Bayern and was announced on Sunday as the club’s latest summer signing. He joins the Bundesliga side after spending three years at Selhurst Park, joining the likes of Harry Kane in swapping the Premier League for Bayern.

Olise, who is set to represent France at the upcoming Paris Olympics, has revealed his dream of “winning titles” in Germany and is excited to begin his new journey.

He told the club website:”The discussions with Bayern have been very positive and I am very happy to now play for such a big club. It is a great challenge and exactly what I was looking for.”

“I want to prove myself at this level and contribute to us winning as many titles as possible with our team in the years to come.”

Olise will play under Vincent Kompany, who recently joined Bayern after leaving Burnley in May. The left-footed player could become a potential replacement for Leroy Sane, but could earn a place in the starting XI.

Bayern Munich boss Max Eberl has shared his plan for Olise, saying he would bring “new energy” to the team.

He said: “Michael Olise is a player who can make a difference and has attracted a lot of interest with his style of play. We want a new impetus in our team, new energy, new ideas – that’s what players like Michael Olise represent.”

“During the interviews, he quickly made it clear that he really wanted to join FC Bayern. We are looking forward to it. He will enrich our game.”
