Bonnie McKee Unveils ‘Forever 21’ Music Video, Inspired by Her Past Struggles with Alcoholism – Watch! | Bonnie McKee, Music, Video | Just Jared: Celebrity News & Gossip

Bonnie McKee is back with a brand new music video for “Forever 21”!

The video, which was made by Bonnie And David Richardsonfocuses on a disastrous ’80s-inspired marriage.

A synopsis, via the official release: “From a drunken toast to a bouquet toss, a VHS tape invites viewers to witness BonnieThe disastrous night of 1968 in all its polyester and tulle filled glory. Inspired by BonnieAfter battling alcoholism, the song and video lift the lid on addiction and show the very real toll it can take on those around you. Shadowed by alcohol-induced delirium, the video shows Bonnie “painfully uninhibited and unaware of the chaos she has caused.”

The song is featured on Bonniethe new album of Hot cityreleased in late May, which features re-recorded tracks from over a decade ago recorded under a previous major label deal, as well as her gold-certified hit, “American Girl.”
