Awkward Biden’s guide to how to enter a room revealed in leaked documents as he responds to calls to drop out of White House race

A leaked document has revealed the detailed guide given to President Joe Biden by White House staff, advising him on how to navigate public appearances.

The stuttering 81-year-old commander-in-chief has increasingly been ridiculed for a series of gaffes on various occasions, including during the disastrous presidential debate with Donald Trump.

After a series of errors, a final document has been released, detailing instructions on how to enter and exit venues ahead of planned public events.

The template, obtained and published by Axios, also contains short memos and images illustrating the exact route Biden is expected to take during these appearances.

Dubbed “groundwork” by Biden’s team, the document was created using large, easy-to-read fonts and images and visual aids that show entry and exit points for any location.

It even shows the exact location of the podiums from which he is supposed to speak.

One of the photographs in the document was captioned: “Walk to the podium.”

Others read “view from the podium” and “view from the audience” — suggesting the way Biden is guided by his aides during his on-air appearances.

A staffer, who reportedly attended a Biden event in recent months, described the document as “detailed verbal and visual instructions,” the DailyMail reports.

He said: “I had a simple fundraiser at a private residence, but they treated it like a NATO summit with his travels.”

Biden aides and other White House officials have severely downplayed the importance of the instruction manual, suggesting that the guide contains only “basic approaches” essential to the work of any president.

A similar guide is also given to other senior White House officials – including Kamla Harris – at public events, they added.

However, many staff who organise such events said they were “surprised” to see such a basic guide, adding that they did not think experienced politicians should need such instructions.

The detailed documents were made public yesterday when Democratic Party officials held a conference call to discuss Biden’s viability as a presidential candidate for the upcoming winter elections.

At 81, Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history and has long been the subject of discussions about his mental alertness.

Many lawmakers and American citizens have urged Biden to withdraw from the race, saying he is no longer physically fit for the high-profile job.

Hawaii Gov. Josh Green said Biden could decide within days whether to withdraw from his re-election bid.

Amid all the speculation, however, Biden today said he is still running for president and aims to beat Donald Trump.

He wrote in a letter posted on Instagram: “Now that you are back from the July 4th holiday, I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to seeing this race through to the end, and to supporting Donald Trump.”

He said he was “not blind” to people’s concerns about the election, but said he was aware of the work it required.

Biden’s Recent Gaffes

PRESIDENT Joe Biden’s gaffes have increased at an alarming rate in recent years.

He had a disastrous performance in the recent presidential debate against Donald Trump.

The commander-in-chief struggled to finish his sentences and appeared to lose his train of thought during his arguments in the first 2024 presidential debate.

Biden alarmingly described himself as a “black woman” during a radio interview with Philadelphia station WURD on Thursday.

“I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, the first Black woman … to serve with a Black president,” Biden said, appearing to conflate himself with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Biden previously served as vice president to President Barack Obama, the first black president of the United States, which is likely the source of his confusion.

The president also tried to go off-script and insult his rival, Donald Trump, while addressing military families at the White House Fourth of July barbecue.

Although Biden came in strong, he clumsily kept his word and collapsed.

“By the way, you know I was at the World War I cemetery in France and the one that one of our colleagues, a former president, didn’t want to go to,” Biden said in an apparent dig at former President Donald Trump.

“I probably shouldn’t even say that. Anyway,” he continued as his voice grew weaker.

After shocking the audience, he quickly got back into the script and tried to regain his energy.

Biden even admitted that he has to limit his work hours and sleep more, even if it means missing important events.

Biden bizarrely admitted that he nearly fell asleep during the awkward screening — during which members of his own party called on him to resign.

In footage shared on Trump’s Truth social network, he claimed Kamala would take over from Biden despite repeated comments from his camp that he will not resign.

Despite Biden’s proclamation, Democrats continue to beg him to step down.

One person wrote in the comments: “I appreciate what President Biden has done for our country, but my loyalty is to the United States before my own cause. The well-being of our nation is the most important thing to me.”

Another said: “Read the room, Joe. It’s time to resign.”

While a third said: “I supported you, but I think you should do the right thing and step aside to let a new leader come in and move us forward.”
