Rapper killed during meeting with fans!

An Oakland rapper was shot and killed while hosting a meet and greet with fans this past weekend. This is simply unbelievable…

Tan DaGod was a well-known local rapper in the San Francisco Bay Area who has made a name for herself in the music world. On Saturday afternoon, she hosted a meet and greet with fans at Glamorous beauty products in the city. But during the event, which was also part of a grand opening party for the company, she was shot by an unknown gunman. And unfortunately, she perished in the tragedy.

A few days before Saturday’s tragedy, she had published a carousel of photos on Instagram for his 20,000+ followers who promoted the event (posed in the promo above, inset) and asked fans to come:

“4013 TELEGRAPH OAKLAND CA! JULY 13TH! The Cotts and I will be there from 12-1pm, please be on time if you would like to meet, greet and see the Cotts live.”

And it turns out they did. Sun of the United StatesDozens of fans showed up and lined up to see Tan DaGod during the event. You can see that promotional post HERE.

Shortly before she was shot, the rapper had even uploaded an Instagram Stories video of herself in the store. She used the video clip to promote the store’s products and even sent a message to her grandmother, who could be seen standing behind her (below):

“We’re here. I’ve got Grandma in the cup. Don’t play with her. Come shop. They’ve got everything you need.”

Then, by KRON-TV NewsAt some point, an hour or two after the event ended, gunfire broke out in the mall. San Francisco Bay Area News BandAccording to police, the rapper was in an argument with another person when the shooting happened. Two people were shot and wounded, and Tan DaGod’s family members later confirmed that she was killed in the attack. The second person was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive.

KRON-TV The rapper also spoke to several eyewitnesses who were at various locations around the mall at the time of the shooting. An employee at a nearby doughnut shop told reporters that the rapper’s fans rushed over as soon as the shooting began:

“I heard gunshots, I thought it was part of their music. I saw two or three people come into my store and they were saying, ‘They’re shooting, they’re shooting.'”

A second employee at a nearby Korean restaurant said he saw the shooter – whom he identified as a man wearing a hoodie – approach and open fire before fleeing:

“A guy with a hoodie came up and started shooting, and that was it, he ran away.”

Through several points of sale, the Oakland Police Department The police team has not yet been able to identify the shooter, nor his motive or target. What a terrible and senseless tragedy. We send all our love and condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of the victim.
