SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. — A man faces multiple drug charges after a traffic stop in Allen County Monday.

According to a uniform citation, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop around 6:27 p.m. on a Ford F-150 on Old Gallatin Road for a tail light that was out.

Police said they asked the driver, identified as David Fishburn, 59, to exit the vehicle after he produced a canceled insurance card.

During a search in Fishburn, police said they found several clear bags containing suspected methamphetamine residue. Police also searched the vehicle, where they said they found a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, several fentanyl patches and marijuana.

Fishburn was arrested and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.
