BREAKING: Deadpool Meet and Greet arrives on the Avengers campus

Deadpool makes his Disney Parks debut as a meet-and-greet character at Avengers Campus this week.

Meet the Deadpool character

Deadpool will meet guests at Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus starting July 26 and at Disneyland Paris on July 24.

The announcement was shared alongside photos of Wade Wilson (aka Deadpool) enjoying a visit to Disney California Adventure.

Deadpool posed in front of the Pixar Pal-A-Round to form a heart shape with his hands. He is wearing his costume as seen in the upcoming film “Deadpool & Wolverine,” which hits theaters July 26. There has been no mention of a possible meeting with Wolverine at this time.

He also stopped by the Animation Academy to try his hand at drawing Mickey Mouse.

Avengers Campus meetups, especially those tied to TV or movie releases, often don’t have announced times or locations. Many Avengers Campus characters are free-roaming, while some have dedicated meetup locations. WDWNT will be visiting Disney California Adventure and providing an update on when and where to find Deadpool; stay tuned for more information.

Deadpool casually posed against a tree outside the Carthay Circle restaurant, where the marquee above reads: “The Return of an Icon.” The meet-up is in honor of the third Deadpool movie hitting theaters.

Finally, he posed in front of the Avengers campus, where he will be present starting July 26. He is the first X-Men character to appear in the parks and has so far only been part of the X-Men universe in a cinematic way. However, the character had a brief appearance in the Avengers during the Secret Wars comic book storyline. A Secret Wars movie is in development for a 2027 release, which suggests that Deadpool could make his debut in the MCU Avengers.
