“My Unfair Lady” premieres in Chicago

“My Unfair Lady” premieres in Chicago

Many pundits and social media commentators point out that Kamala Harris sticks strictly to a script at her rallies. Her surprise appearance at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Monday night was no exception. They also note that she avoids one-on-one interviews, which could lead to impromptu questions that could reveal more about her character and policies.

So what is going on with Harris and her campaign? And why has she been invisible for weeks and weeks after receiving the Democratic Party’s nomination for president?

Kamala has gone from a cackling Eliza Doolittle to a shining star receiving praise from coast to coast.

Could it be that the Democratic Party leadership has decided to temporarily hide this modern-day Pygmalion and take the time to transform him into a refined example of wit and sophistication? Is the “script” lifted straight from the Broadway musical and movie “My Fair Lady,” based on the play by George Bernard Shaw?

It seems obvious to me, but I had to know. Forgive me, but by showing a little mischievous initiative, I was able to discover what was really going on.

Using a toothpick and a straightened paper clip (to the (MacGyver) I managed to hack into the DNC’s computer system. And sure enough, there it was: the scenario! Complete with musical numbers, costumes, stage directions — everything!

I quickly found myself humming this poorly written little ditty:

The blame
In general
Stays mainly
On the lame man

(And the “lame ones” are, needless to say, MAGA and Trump supporters.)

The script contains detailed instructions on how to take Kamala’s annoying giggle and, with a lot of practice, turn it into a joyful smile (“joy” being the key lesson here). Kamala has gone from a cackling Eliza Doolittle to a shining star who receives congratulations from coast to coast.

The number one lesson I took from the script was that Kamala—who had cast Tim Walz (what a musical name!) as her running mate to play a dusted-off Professor Henry Higgins—had to stick to the script!

And to ensure a large-scale and successful production, the script was distributed in advance to mainstream media “critics” and those working behind the scenes and behind the scenes of the Democratic establishment, the deep state and all far-left institutions.

Unfortunately, the show, such as it is, is still going ahead. We’ll see its world premiere on the stage of Chicago’s United Center on Thursday night. But will it be enough of a success to stay on stage until November 5? Will people embrace this new Doolittle, Joe Biden’s stand-in, or will they realize that it’s still the same old Do Nothing, with or without the former star of the show?

Hopefully, “With a Little (Bad) Luck” production wraps up quickly. Given all the lies surrounding this new storyline, “My Unfair Lady” might be a more appropriate title for this revival. The sooner the curtain falls on this stolen and twisted storyline, the better.
