Survivor Announces This Season’s Castaways, One of Them Lives in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — Survivor has revealed the 18 new castaways who will compete in its 47th season, and one of the contestants is from Nashville.

Sam Phalen is one of 18 contestants this season.

Phalen resides in Nashville, where he works as a reporter for the Tennessee Titans for A to Z Sports.

Sam and the 17 other castaways compete for the title of “sole survivor” and a million dollar prize.

Contestants must overcome a series of unexpected obstacles while forming a new society and adapting to their surroundings.

The 47th season of Survivor will premiere on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. EST.
