WWE Legend Rikishi Asks for Prayers for Former Champion Son

WWE Legend Rikishi Asks for Prayers for Former Champion Son

WWE legend and father Rikishi has asked for prayers for one of his sons.

At WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. Shortly after, Reigns went on hiatus and Solo Sikoa became the new Tribal Chief and eliminated Jimmy Uso from The Bloodline.

At SummerSlam 2023, Jimmy Uso betrayed his twin brother Jey Uso, and subsequently suffered a defeat against him at WrestleMania 40. After Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga attacked him, Jimmy Uso was ruled out due to injury and has yet to be seen on television.

Recently, his father Rikishi shared a video on X (Twitter) and asked fans to pray for his son’s health. Fans were eagerly waiting for Uso’s return to the promotion, but Rikishi’s latest post has left everyone confused.

Dear GOD, may strength and health continue. Keep praying for my son Jonathan Fatu.

The Hall of Famer shared the video of Uso with a prayer in the background.

Dear God, grant me the strength I need to continue this journey, give me hope and perseverance in the face of difficulties. I count on your guidance, strength and love to help me through difficult times. Remind me that I am capable of overcoming anything that comes my way.

Fans were completely confused and wanted an update on the situation, when Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp cleared things up and shared:

Following up with WWE people, they say they spoke to Jimmy Uso, who says he’s doing well. I don’t have any further information beyond that.

It is still unclear what is wrong with Jimmy Uso, but we hope he will recover and return to boxing.

Rikishi Talks Son Jey Uso’s Upcoming WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Speaking on the Off the Top podcast, Rikishi discussed Jey Uso’s upcoming Intercontinental Championship match and hoped to see his son win his first singles title.

Let’s give them a big round of applause. I hope they do the right thing, I guess. When I voice my opinion, damn, my forehead starts to sweat. I can feel all the heat coming my way.

I’m just speaking as a father. Tell me no other father would defend his son or daughter. So let’s see what happens. We’ll see what can happen.

He added that he sees the situation changing for his son soon and hopes to see positive things for him.
