Loose Women celebrates milestone with ‘silver jubilee’ portrait

Loose women celebrated its 25th anniversary with a silver jubilee-inspired portrait.

The new image, which was taken at the Television Center earlier this month, shows 18 of the show’s all-female panellists smiling at the camera while wearing an array of silver ball gowns.

Four original panelists from the show’s first week in 1999 – Jane Moore, Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha and Ruth Langsford – appear in the photo.

Marking this special milestone, Loose women Editor Sally Shelford paid tribute to the audience, who helped transform discussions of “important” topics on the show.

“Our incredible audiences – in the studio and at home – have always been the fifth Loose Woman, and we promise to continue talking, sharing and shining a light on important topics like these for our incredible viewers.”

Coleen Nolan, who first appeared on the show in 2000, added: “There’s nothing like Loose women on TV – with four women a day, of all ages, from all walks of life, discussing every possible subject, from the most serious to the most amusing. It’s a unique show, the only one of its kind.”
