Viral video: Woman passenger from Bengaluru abuses auto driver after he confronts her about canceling trip in Ola

Bengaluru is slowly becoming famous for all the wrong reasons. It used to be traffic, and now it’s traffic brawls with autorickshaw drivers. In a recent incident, a car driver was seen confronting a passenger by claiming that she had booked two cars at the same time and canceled one.

When the woman in turn said that she had not booked the car, the argument escalated further. When the video was posted on social media, it sparked a debate with many users dropping their comments.

In a video one says car driver in Bengaluru went near another car and asked the passenger if she had canceled his ride. When she said this was not the case, the driver said: ‘How can you book two cars at the same time, madam? I’ve been waiting here for a long time and now you’ve canceled and got into another car. What do you do with motorists?”

In response, the woman used offensive language and attempted to punch the other driver and ask him to leave. “I didn’t book two cars. Why are you bothering me? I just checked the prices of two different cars and booked one. If you receive a call, there is an app problem. Please go away and don’t bother me,” she said angrily.

Apart from this, the woman complained about it too to her father who was on the phone and also took down the details of the auto-rickshaw.

This is how netizens responded:

One user said: “If a company offers a cancellation feature in their app, why should customers be blamed for using it? Also blame the drivers if they cancel. Or let the company collect the booking costs and pass them on to the other party. If the carmakers had listened to their customers, Ola/Uber would not have flourished.”

Another user said: “While canceling a car trip is not an offense, using such words and hitting someone is. I hope the police investigate this and take appropriate action quickly.”
