Driver seriously injured in horrific crash in Mallala, South Australia

A driver has been seriously injured in a horror crash that saw his vehicle split in two north of the city Adelaide.

The car was traveling on Mallala Rd, Malalla, about 5.30am on Saturday when it left the road and struck a tree.

The driver, who was the only occupant in the car, was seriously injured.

Emergency services remain at the scene, Adelaide Rd to Mallala Rd is closed in both directions.

“Motorists should find an alternative route if possible,” South Africa Police said.
