Shirley Ballas is the main judge of the British dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, which is very similar to the US dance competition Dancing with the Stars. She revealed what happened when Kate and her two youngest children visited the set.

Speaking to The Sun, Ballas told the story of meeting the young royals for the first time and what Louis said when Charlotte received a gift she liked.

She remembered the five words that Prince Louis uttered when he saw the gift that Charlotte received, recalling: “When they visited us, we had these crowns on the set, so I thought it would be a good idea to give the girl a crown and I got it (Louis ) a beautiful box of sweets. Then he said, ‘I want one of those’ and pointed to the crown.”

Ballas explained that everyone started fighting and “had to go find him a little crown” to help keep the peace. She said “they are beautifully polite children” and “had so much fun” with them. She added: “We have photos but I didn’t want to post them. I think it’s more private for (Kate). I was glad she came and had a great day.

The visit took place before the Princess of Wales was hospitalized for abdominal surgery and a cancer diagnosis.

Kate recently announced that she has completed her chemotherapy

On September 9, Kate posted an emotional health update on her and William’s social media accounts, announcing that she had completed chemotherapy and is now “cancer free.”

In the video which featured several clips of Prince George, Charlotte and Louis playing together and with their parents, the Princess of Wales said: “I can’t tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly difficult for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and unfamiliar road.

“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you’ve never considered before, and with it, a new perspective on everything. This time, above all, has reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple but important things in life that many of us often take for granted. To simply love and be loved.

Kate also acknowledged that her “road to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to enjoy each day as it comes.” She concluded with the quote, “Out of darkness can come light, so let that light shine.”
