Jerry Jones’ kids involved in freak car crash outside stadium before 49ers game: report

Members of Jerry Jones’ family were injured after a freak car accident outside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, prior to the game. Dallas Cowboysmatchup with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.

The Athletics reported that the “second vehicle in the Jones Family caravan” was struck by a “rising barricade” outside the stadium.

In the car were Jerry’s daughter, Charlotte Jones Anderson, his son, Jerry Jones Jr., and Charlotte’s son, Shy Anderson Jr.. The report added that Charlotte and Jerry Jr. at the stadium were evaluated by the Cowboys medical staff and were able to go to the visiting owners’ suite for the game.

That evaluation reportedly revealed that Charlotte may have suffered a rib injury from the accident, while Jerry Jr. had a head injury, the Jones family told The Athletic.

The Jones family is usually seen at every game during the Cowboys’ season, traveling around all day to watch their team in action, regardless of the day of the week.

Charlotte Jones serves as executive vice president and chief brand officer of the Cowboys, while also being the first woman to serve as president of the Cowboys. NFL Foundationwho is responsible for philanthropic efforts across the sport.

Jones Jr. is the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of the Cowboys.

All three of Jones’ children co-own the franchise, with Stephen Jones serving as Chief Operating Officer.

The Jones family headed to the Bay Area hoping Dak Prescott and the Cowboys would do better than last season at Levi’s Stadium, a 42-10 loss to the 49ers on Oct. 8, 2023.

The Cowboys are 3-3 on the year after being eliminated by the Detroit Lions two weeks ago before entering their bye week.
