The remake of Silent Hill 2 has just been released, but mods are already flooding the internet with memes

Modders didn’t wait long to start working on Silent Hill 2 Remake. It’s only been on the market for a day, but the community has already started working on changing some aspects of the title. The tormented James Sunderland, protagonist of Konami classic, was replaced by another legendary video game character, none other than CJ, from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The mod is available on Nexus Mods and was created by SpiritHunz, who used the character’s original model. This means it doesn’t look as detailed as James’s, as it’s a few generations off.

Silent Hill and Resident Evil emerged at the same time and have competed ever since, although the horror of both productions is of a different nature. What would happen if Leon S. Kennedy wandered the foggy streets of the cursed city? The answer in this other mod, which puts the protagonist of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4among others, in James’ nightmare. Considering the activity of the modding community, it is assumed that there will be many more additions and changes in the future.

The game was developed by Bloober Team not limited to improving the graphics, remade with Unreal Engine 5, but also introducing numerous gameplay changes, affecting the camera, combat system and puzzles, as well as the location of key objects. New explorable areas are also introduced, including new explorable shops.
