Santa Clara supervisors should consider reinstatement of fired education supervisor.

A three-person panel Thursday suggested the Santa Clara County Board of Education superintendent position should be elected rather than appointed. Meanwhile, Dist. 3 Supervisor Otto Lee said he and his colleagues will consider, at their next meeting, reinstating fired superintendent Dr. Mary Ann Dewan.
