Gogglebox star Izzi Warner left viewers stunned with a frank admission about her personal life on the show, revealing she has been single for quite some time.

The Channel 4 favorite, who is regularly seen on the sofa with her sister Ellie, caught fans off guard when she revealed her split from her long-term partner Grant.

The two had been together for many years, with Izzi first posting photos of Grant in 2014. They lived together in Leeds and have two children, son Bobby and daughter Bessie Rose.

Izzi openly discussed their split, mentioning that they went their separate ways 18 months prior. In the last episode, she divulged her specific criteria for an ideal partner, which she humorously referred to as her ‘Mary Poppins’ list, after Ellie encouraged her to describe what she looks for in a potential new love interest.

Probing her sister, Izzi asked: “My partner who is practically perfect in every way, do you want to hear it? It’s quite extensive.”, reports the Mirror.

“I’ve separated this into essentials and likeables. So in essentials we have: hardworking, open minded, kind, attractive, good with money, clean criminal record, zero drug police/no drinking problems, emotional intelligence, full hair, patient, discreet, loyal, supports my hobbies, wants to be my companion,” according to Birmingham Live.

“And it’s also nice to have: nice teeth, nice car, generous, good style, taller than me, cooks nice dinners. That’s why I’ve been single for 18 months.”

The Gogglebox crowd were shocked to discover that Izzi, one of the show’s favourites, appears to be single. On the platform formerly known as Twitter, a perplexed viewer asked: “Wait, Izzi is single? #Gogglebox,” while another added: “Izzi single?

A third was equally surprised, postulating: “Wait, what did Izzy say she was single?”

Just a few months earlier, in May, admirers praised mortgage consultant Izzi for sharing glimpses of her “first solo vacation” with her kids, offering a sneak peek into her Disney adventure in a video montage.

“This was my first solo trip abroad with kids and I just threw myself in at the deep end, but I’m so glad I did it! It was super exhausting, but it was worth it for the memories we made. This won’t be my last trip with them, now I’ve done the first one, but maybe somewhere a little more relaxing next time.”

Fellow Gogglebox star Baasit Siddiqui sent positivity her way, commenting: “Awww, looks like you had a great time. Congratulations on being outnumbered! It’s hard enough when me and Mel have the munchkins together!”
