South Shore Rotary’s 2025 Pot of Gold Calendar: A Fun Way to Win and Give Back

South Shore Rotary’s 2025 Pot of Gold Calendar: A Fun Way to Win and Give Back

STATEN ISLAND, NY — In a time when digital calendars dominate, South Shore Rotary invites Staten Islanders to consider a traditional alternative with a modern twist. The 2025 Pot of Gold calendar offers not only a nostalgic experience, but also an excellent chance to win cash prizes while supporting local charities.

This third annual calendar features vintage and contemporary photographs of Staten Island, highlighting the neighborhood’s unique charm and history.

But it’s more than just a calendar – it’s a year-round giveaway. For just $10, shoppers gain entry into monthly cash prize drawings, with a total of 18 opportunities to win throughout the year.

Each month, South Shore Rotary will draw a winner during its first Thursday meeting, awarding $200 to the lucky winner. Special months bring even more excitement, with double drawings in May for Mother’s Day and June for Father’s Day, and a $400 prize on July 4th. The year ends with a festive grand finale in December, where one winner will walk away with $1,000.

Participation is easy. Purchasers simply fill out and return the information card on the back of their calendar to South Shore Rotary. Each entry is returned to the draw box after a win, meaning entrants can win multiple times.

In addition to the raffle, the calendar serves as a valuable resource for those who appreciate local Staten Island businesses. Each month highlights and promotes diverse local establishments, offering a unique platform for businesses to connect with the community.

The calendar also makes an ideal gift – whether as a stocking stuffer, a small gesture of appreciation to customers, or a fun prize at community events. It’s a great option for real estate agents, car salespeople, and others who want to express their appreciation to their clients in a memorable way.

Proceeds from calendar sales go to South Shore Rotary’s charitable initiatives, benefiting Staten Islanders in need. Rotary, committed to its motto “Service Above Self,” uses these funds to support community events and programs, making every calendar purchase a contribution to a worthy cause.
