$10,000 reward offered for arrest in 2022 shooting of Colorado Springs rap artist

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers is asking the public for help finding the person responsible for shooting a rising rap artist more than two years ago.

On July 6, 2022, Springs police responded to a report of a shooting at the El Morro Mobile Home Park on the southeast side of Colorado Springs. Police officers found a teenager with gunshot wounds and tried to save him, but he died at the scene. For two years and three months, his killer remained at large.

“The victim was 19-year-old Santiago Calleros III of Colorado Springs, also known in the Hispanic community as rap artist ‘Lil Travieso.’ He leaves behind a 2-year-old daughter. His loss is deeply felt throughout the community,” Crime Stoppers said.

Tuesday, Crime Stoppers announced it was offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.

“Crime Stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for ANONYMOUS information leading to the arrest of a person or persons responsible for this horrific crime. If you have information about this incident, you can share it and remain anonymous,” read a press release from the organization.
