USA Track & Field Announces Championships for 2024-2025 Season

Indianapolis, IN — USA Track & Field (USATF) is pleased to announce the host cities for championship events for the 2024-2025 season, pending contract finalization. After a thorough review process by the USATF Championships Committees, the following proposals have been selected to host major national championships and selection events for the upcoming season.

2024-2025 USATF Championship Event Schedule

December 14, 2024	2024-25 USATF National Club Cross Country Championships	Tacoma, WA
January 11, 2025	2024-25 USATF Cross Country Championships	Lubbock, Texas
March 2, 2025	USATF Half Marathon Championship and Selection Event	Atlanta, GA
April 22, 2025	USATF Mile Championships and Selection Event	Des Moines, IA
May 3, 2025	USATF 5K Championships and Selection Event	Indianapolis, IN

These prestigious events will feature elite athletes from across the country vying for national titles and spots on the USATF team. Selection events will play a key role in determining competitors for the 2025 World Athletics Road Running Championships, which will take place September 26-28 in San Diego, CA.

USATF is excited to work alongside local organizing committees in each host city to deliver exceptional events for athletes and fans.

Additionally, USATF is now accepting applications for national team coaches for the 2025 World Athletics Road Running Championships and the 2026 World Athletics Cross Country Championships.

Individuals wishing to be considered for these positions must complete the online application by October 31, 2024. Complete selection procedures can be reviewed here.
