While local police worked hard to locate the fan involved in the incident, several social media sleuths also got to work and apparently found a suspected culprit.

In response to the video posted by Hater Report, which had been viewed more than 45 million times as of Tuesday afternoon, user X posted information about the man alleged to be the attacker.

Although police did not identify the suspect’s name, users identified him as Jack Callis, an employee of the insurance company Maury Donnelly and Parr.

However, after the video went viral, the company announced on X on Tuesday that Callis was “no longer employed” by the company.
