Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Reunite for Cruz Amid Split

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have been adamant about having a good relationship for their 3-year-old son Cruz Cauchi during their divorce. The Valley The cast members officially split earlier this year before Brittany filed for divorce in August, but they have continued to be a united front for their son.

The estranged couple did just that on Tuesday, Oct. 15, when they brought Cruz to Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, California, where they had the end autumn day. Jax took to his Instagram Story, where he revealed that the family of three started the morning interacting with wildlife (which included baby chicks and chickens) before Brittany and Cruz took a train ride.

“Cruzy! Cruz,” Jax told his son, as he walked around the farm with his hand covering his mouth in a shocked expression. “Oh my God! Are you shocked? Are you shocked?”

Cruz’s pure happiness is then it’s nice to see, especially since he seems so excited to be surrounded by so many fun sights. Cruz and Brittany then rode a tractor around the farm, while Jax sat in the car behind them, taking a sweet photo of them both.

This may be a far cry from Brittany’s family farm in Kentucky, but it proves that Cruz is a farm boy at heart. Just look at that smile on his face.

Rest assured, Jax and Brittany are keeping all of your focus on your child and his happiness. Brittany recently said Access Hollywood that she’s not trying to start dating because her priority is family.

“I have to focus on myself, obviously, focus on my son, that’s the most important thing right now… I’m just trying to stay positive, be as strong as I can, and just, you know, focus on what It’s important, because, you know, my son is the most important thing of all and I need to focus on myself first,” she explained.

Jax shared a similar sentiment in a recent interview earlier this month, in which he shared his philosophy on co-parenting the son he shares with Brittany.

“All I care about is my son. All I care about is hanging out with him, being healthy and being in the right frame of mind,” he said. Us weekly. “I haven’t been alone for 10 years, so this is a new thing for me. And it’s like, it’s scary. So I’m kind of getting used to it. I just bought a new house. I’m just trying to figure it all out day by day.”

This isn’t the only way Brittany got her and Cruz into the fall spirit. During a September episode of his podcast, When reality arrivesBrittany revealed that she started decorating her Valley home after Jax moved into his new home earlier that month.

“I’m so excited because it’s spooky season and you know, if you’re listening or following me on social media, I love decorating,” she explained. “So I brought all the Halloween stuff here, I decorated some last night, I have to finish it today, hopefully. You know, I’m one of those people who starts a project and then I’m like a squirrel. So I have to move around.” I just need to stay focused.”
