The world was shocked when news broke of Liam Payne’s untimely death. On Wednesday, the 31-year-old singer and former One Direction member passed away in Buenos Aires, Argentina. According to reports from local authorities, Liam fell from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room. The news left fans heartbroken and many took to social media to pay tribute. Among the tributes were some shared screenshots of his last social media post – a selfie video that Liam was said to have posted on Snapchat just hours before the tragic incident.

In what many believe to be his last video, Liam Payne appears cheerful, speaking to the camera while sitting at a dinner table in Sarmiento, Buenos Aires province. The short clip, posted to his verified Snapchat account, is now a bittersweet reminder of his final hours alive.

In the video, Liam is seen enjoying a relaxed moment with his friends. “Such a beautiful day here in Argentina. This is the breakfast table, just enjoying coffee and breakfast even though it’s 1pm,” says Liam, smiling as he looks into the camera. One of their friends, who is off-screen, jokingly comments that they always sleep late. Liam laughs, shakes his head with a smile and says “no” in response before the video ends.

The hotel manager reported hearing a loud noise coming from the back of the building. When police arrived, they discovered that someone had fallen from the balcony of a third-floor room. Emergency teams were called to the scene and confirmed the death of the British singer. His body was found in the hotel’s inner courtyard, reports the Daily Mail.

Authorities revealed that a hotel employee made an urgent call for help, stating that a guest was behaving erratically and appeared intoxicated. This information came from audio recordings obtained by the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security, shedding more light on the tragic circumstances that led to Liam’s death.
