Bethesda announces its first Fallout Day stream, teasing future plans for Fallout 76 and a community parade

October 23rd is coming, which means only one thing – which has turned into Fallout’s version of May 4th. It’s the anniversary of the nuclear transformation of the series’ world on that fateful day in 2077, and for the first time, Bethesda is commemorating the occasion with a stream that will feature developers and community members.

Although this date is a time when Fallout fans post cool things and do a bit of ‘wink, wink, nudge, nudge, did you check the calendar?’ more so this year, given how much Fallout’s profile rose after the TV show.

“Fallout Day is coming up on October 23rd, where we will host our first #FalloutDay stream,” Bethesda said in its announcement of the festivities, which appear to air on Bethesda’s official YouTube and Twitch channels, with the initial developer part of the stream. is also scheduled to arrive on Facebook and Steam.

“Join Jon Rush and Bill LaCoste as they give an insight into what we’re working on in Fallout 76,” Bethesda continued, “The party goes on from there with our friends FalloutforHope for their Community Parade. See you soon!”

In a separate tweet, the studio confirmed that in addition to this broadcast starting at 8pm BST/3pm EST/12pm PST on October 23he’ll be doing a bunch of things in ’76 to help celebrate the day – just like Halloween, from the looks of it, with a Spooky Scorched and Trick or Treat in-game event running from October 22nd to November 5th being followed up on several points for Twitch drops, some double XP, and a birthday CAMP contest in November.

It’s cool to see FalloutforHope, a community-run charity initiative that has previously hosted events about things like modding, be part of some official festivities, with founder Ken Vigue sharing exactly what this means to him and his team in a nice tweet.
