The accident

Second incident on the tracks in a few days, following the death of a girl in Santa Severa on Tuesday, this time the accident occurred at Ladispoli station, where a man was run over by a Frecciabianca train towards Civitavecchia. Officers from the Polfer police and the Ladispoli police station intervened at the scene, while railway traffic was temporarily suspended between the Maccarese and Santa Severa police stations to allow investigations by the Judicial Authority.

Traffic on the line was interrupted for several hours, with the cancellation of a train from Civitavecchia and numerous delays both at departure and arrival. Investigations are underway to clarify the dynamics of the incident. The route was canceled for several hours: “Traffic suspended between Maccarese and Santa Severa stations for investigation by the Judicial Authority following the attack on a person at Ladispoli station”. A train from Civitavecchia has been canceled as delays begin to appear in departure and arrival.
