Style | Collaborate to celebrate

I was inspired by a tactile design vocabulary that highlights iconic motifs that are part of Sarita Handa’s archives; These looks celebrate India through its many interpretations. For me, the main inspiration for this collection comes from the past, mixing tradition with festive spirit.

  • I’m always really excited about the idea of using light in the most unusual ways. Focus on various functional objects like diya, candlestick and votive candles that can be used in any room, in a group or individually, with seasonal flowers to create a mood for Diwali.
  • You can reuse old diyas from home, be it silver or any other metal or even terracotta, and style them together.
  • The platters and bowls offer great versatility, featuring festive motifs inspired by Ms. Handa’s textile archives. They are perfect for serving sweets and savory buffet style, allowing the host to also enjoy the party.
  • The ideal would be to arrange them at varying heights, combining platters and bowls to create a cohesive and visually appealing configuration.
  • The cutlery is cast in brass with a natural, handcrafted texture, making it more than a functional object; has the essence of craftsmanship and luxury, enhancing the overall aesthetic of any environment. You can use them for serving or just style them around the table.
