Saturday night live covered all of TikTok’s current trends in a parody with some fun cameos on its October 19th episode.

The nearly four-minute sketch, aptly titled “TikTok,” began in a vertical iPhone view when someone texted their “BAE” that they were “LEAVING NOW” before rolling the havoc on his social media thread. .

Videos started appearing of everything from a cute dancing cat to Marcelo Hernandezthe viral “Espresso” cover for a fitness girl (newcomer Ashley Padilha) encouraging his followers while trying to sell them products.

Then there was a foodie, played by Kenan Thompsonoffering an honest review of Fruity Pebble-covered chicken in his car and – of course – a traditional wife (Heidi Gardner) preparing meals for your family during pregnancy.

“As a 22-year-old mother of 10, I like to do everything by hand,” Gardner said as she prepared her law degree to make paper for her children to color on.

Chloe Fineman played the host of the podcast “Call Her Daddy” Alex Cooper while Bowen Yang took over the influencer Harry Daniels as he sang to Maya Rodolfoof Kamala Harris, James AustinJohnsonof donald trumpand the episode’s musical guest Billie Eilish.

“Here’s some rent, please unfollow me,” Elish said.

Hernandez interviewed Trump as Danny Nahbrah and Mikey’s Day danced through storm reports as a meteorologist Nick Kosir. AND Ego Nwodim destroyed “Chili’s on Jefferson Avenue” before Dana Carveyof Joe Biden boogied in the Oval Office.

All of these parodies fell flat when the scroller received text alerts from the Harris-Walz campaign, as well as from “BAE,” who finally told him, “YOU LITERALLY MISSED THE BIRTH OF OUR SON!!!”

A photo then emerged of what appeared to be Gardner as the aforementioned pregnant drug dealer wife.

The video was later posted to the show’s YouTube page with the description: “Mindlessly scrolling through TikTok is the perfect distraction from becoming a parent.”

Saturday night’s episode was hosted by Michael Keaton with musical guest Eilish singing her songs “Birds of a Feather” and “Wildflower.”

Alex Baldwin also returned to the show — not as Trump, but as Fox News’ Bret Baier interviewing Rudolph as Harris for the cold open.
