Action RPG inspired by the manga EDENS ZERO is coming to PS5

Microsoft’s tried and trusted announcement embargo prevented EDENS ZERO from being confirmed for PS5 last week, but it has now been lifted and we have the official press release. The action RPG adaptation of Hiro Mashima’s space fantasy will launch on Sony’s system next year, promising an “expanded” version of the original story – with additional scenes and content.

You’ll be able to take on the role of several different characters from the source material, each with a unique approach to combat. “Master each character’s unique combat style, including melee, long-range shooting, weapon-based attacks, and offensive magic,” the synopsis says. “Form your own party and dominate battles by switching characters to bring whoever is best suited to the fight.”
