Lady Gaga’s ‘Joker’ Performance Made Her Look ‘Foolish and Inept’ (EXCL)

Lady Gaga is ready to abandon Hollywood after her musical film Joker: Folie à Deux was attacked by critics and former fans, a source exclusively tells Life and Style.

The “Bad Romance” singer, 38, was left red-faced after the big-budget Clown The sequel — in which the 13-time Grammy winner plays psychiatrist-turned-girl killer Harley Quinn — bombed with viewers and many of its scenes were cut from the final version, the source said.

“She was not only irate, embarrassed and shocked at how most of her scenes were cut, but also furious at how the songs were presented,” the source said. “There were all these strange shifts from violence and dread to upbeat, jazzy music. This made her look foolish and inept.

Audiences turned up their noses at the production, with one viewer calling the musical pieces – only one of which Gaga actually wrote – “useless, low-effort and forgettable” and another labeling the entire film “trash!”

Now the source says that House of Gucci gal plans to take a break from Tinseltown to refocus on her pop career.

“It was a wake-up call she needed,” the source said. “A pretty clear message that she is a singer-songwriter first — and an actress second.”

“Yes, she made several critically acclaimed films before this flop, but they don’t make up for this embarrassment.”

“She looked like an amateur.”
