One dead, two injured in crash in Stoke-on-Trent

A two-car collision left one man dead and two people injured.

A gray BMW estate and a black Renault Clio were involved in a collision on the A34 Stone Road, near Stoke-on-Trent, at around 8.30pm GMT on Saturday, Staffordshire Police said.

The 21-year-old BMW driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the BWM and the driver of the other car were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash, which took place on the southern side of the road between Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest Island, should contact police.
