Pete Davidson Gives Rare Look at Tattoo-Free Arms on ‘Saturday Night Live’ After Removal

Pete Davidson gave fans a glimpse into his tattoo removal process in a surprise guest appearance “Saturday Night Live.”

During the sketch, Davidson wore a graphic short-sleeved T-shirt that revealed the near-complete removal process of the tattoo sleeves from his forearm.

While some designs still exist and others have been faded but not completely removed, it was a big change from its once completely covered look.

In addition to his bare arms, Davidson, 30, also surprised fans with a buzzcut hairstyle.

The “King of Staten Island” star made a cameo in a sketch this weekend alongside his friend and host John Mulaney, as well as former co-stars Keenan Thompson, Bowen Yang, Ego Nwodim and Andrew Dismukes.

In the sketch, Davidson and Dismukes played two men who bought strange items at the Duane Reade supermarket in the New York Port Authority bus station.

The cast then joked about Davidson’s requests in several musical numbers.

Davidson has slowly returned to the spotlight and was last seen enjoying a night out in Los Angeles with his buddy, MGKformerly known as Machine Gun Kelly.

The two posed for a few photos together, and the photos also showed Davidson’s left arm nearly bare, with only a few faded tattoos on his right arm.

Davidson started removing his tattoos three years ago. In a 2021 interview on ‘Late Night’ with Seth MeyersDavidson explained that he prioritized acting roles, so he would often spend “three hours” in the makeup kit to cover them up.

“For some reason people in movies don’t have that very often,” he joked at the time.

The comedian confessed to the process –– which usually involves several long sessions of painful laser beams –– is difficult.

“Burning them off is worse than getting them, because not only do they burn your skin, but you’re wearing big glasses, right?” So you can’t see anything and the doctor is with you,” Davidson said at the time.

Davidson was previously known for getting tattoos on a whim or dedicated to his then girlfriend. He earlier got ink for exes Cazzie David, Ariana Grande And Kim Kardashianamong others.

He also had a wide variety of other interesting designs – including portraits of both the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Hillary Clinton.
