Coroner identifies man killed in shooting outside Midtown Reno bar

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The coroner’s office has identified the man man shot and killed outside a reno bar early saturday morning.

Andrej Kucher, 36, died of a gunshot wound to the head shortly after arriving in Renown just after midnight on November 2.

Johnpaul Seger, who was arrested for murder shortly after the mass shooting, is accused of killing Kucher and shooting three other victims outside Shea’s Tavern. The three other victims were also rushed to hospital; one man is said to be in critical condition and another man and woman are said to be in stable condition.

Police are investigating the motive for the shooting, but believe the incident is an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the public.

The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office said Kucher’s residence is unknown at this time.
