Samsung Galaxy S25 case leak reveals new iPhone 16-inspired design

The Samsung Galaxy S25 won’t be launched for a few months, but we’re already getting a good idea of what the flagship will look like thanks to a series of leaked renders. It looks like this influx of images is only going to get worse as third parties appear to be preparing to launch S25-compatible accessories.

Tasty Roland Quandt just shared some images of what it claims are clear cases for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25Ultra. These images contain renders of an S25-like phone, and while we don’t get much information, there are a few details we can glean about what the final phones could look like.

The front renders of all three phones aren’t surprising at all. We have the classic glass rectangle with a hole-punch camera at the very top of the screen and flat displays on all three models – suggesting that Samsung is definitely done with curved displays on the Ultra model after abandoning them on the Ultra model. Galaxy S24Ultra. These phones also appear to have a flat edge design with curved corners, which contrasts with the more angular corners on the bottom. Galaxy S24 series. It looks like Samsung will adopt design cues from its rivals iPhone 16 and the Google Pixel9.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra case also has a much larger camera cutout than the other two, suggesting we’ll see the same quad-camera layout as last year. Presumably this means rumors about a variable telephoto lenswhich would combine the two zoom cameras into a single lens might not happen this time. Or if so, Samsung has an additional lens ready to take the place of the smaller telephoto camera.

We don’t know where these images come from, or which company will make these covers. The fact that they are simple, plain cases doesn’t tell us much either, as these will likely be available from numerous different accessory manufacturers.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 is expected to come with a number of different upgrades including the new one Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra may come with one new 50 MP ultra-wide camera lens. All three phones can also grow slightlyby about 0.1 inches, which would make the S25 Ultra about the same size as the larger one iPhone 16 Pro Max.

However, the screen technology and batteries may remain more or less the same as the Galaxy S24, meaning Samsung may have to rely on Galaxy AI and other software features to make the phone attractive to upgraders.
