Billie Eilish slams Trump as a ‘convicted predator’ who ‘hates women’

Billie Eilish does not remain silent about it Donald Trump‘s election victory.

The singer announced during her concert on Wednesday evening in Nashville tore into Trumpcalling him a “convicted predator” who “hates women so deeply.” She also revealed that she considered canceling her Wednesday show after Trump’s victory, but ultimately decided to go through with it.

“It’s such a privilege that I get to do this with you and that we can do this at a time like now,” she told the audience.

Eilish performed her 2022 anthem “TV,” which referenced the overturning of Roe v. Wade, while Billie dedicated the song to the women in the audience, promising them all that they were “safe in this room.” She also reflected on her experiences with past abuse and how her “boundaries were crossed” as she explained why she was so upset by Trump’s victory.

Her comments during the Wednesday evening concert follow her response posted to her Instagram story Yesterday, Trump’s victory was denounced as ‘a war on women’.
