The pair share seven wins each as the Italian fans will be cheering loud and clear for home favorite Sinner. Meanwhile, there will be another rivalry that looks intriguing as Alcaraz and Zverev will face off in their eleventh meeting. The duo share five wins each.

Australia’s Minaur will be hoping for upsets at the event as it is time for redemption for Rublev. Fritz and Rublev could score crucial victories that could change the dynamics of the tournament.

While singles could produce a first winner, the scenario in doubles seems to be no different. In the Mike Bryan group, the experienced duo of Marcel Granollers / Horacio Zeballos is at the forefront while the 2020 champions Wesley Koolhof / Nikola Mektic are looking for their second title. Australian duo Max Purcell/Jordan Thompson and Harri Heliovaara/Henry Patten are also in the Mike Group.

In the Bob Bryan group, Marcelo Arevalo/Mate Pavic, number 1 in the world, face a strong challenge. They will face stiff resistance from the Italian duo Simone Bolelli / Andrea Vavassori and Rohan Bopanna/ Matthew Ebden. Kevin Krawietz / Tim Puetz are also in the Bob group.

Purcell/Thompson are the youngest pair in doubles, while Bopanna/Ebden are the oldest. In terms of individual years in the event, Alcaraz is the youngest at 21 years old, while Bopanna is the oldest at 44 years old.
