Anaergia announces the resignation of its director, planned as part of the current transaction

BURLINGTON, Ontario, May 7, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Anaergia Inc. (“Anaergy“or the”Business“) (TSX: ANRG) announced today the acceptance of the resignation of Mr. Frank McKenna from the Board of Directors of the Company effective May 5, 2024. Previously, Mr. McKenna had agreed to concurrently resign at the closing of the last tranche of the announced an equity investment of 40.8 million Canadian dollars (“Strategic investment“) of Marny Investissement SA (“Marny“) (which remains outstanding) in order to create a vacancy for the appointment of a Marny candidate. Given the unforeseen and prolonged delay in such closing, Mr. McKenna must attend to other prior commitments. Mr. McKenna remains a strong supporter of Anaergia’s business.
