A source told PEOPLE that “Kelly left because she and her team didn’t like her dressing room,” and Ora then “agreed to replace her at the last minute.”

According to Page Six, which first reported the news, Rowland asked if she could use a green room upstairs because she wasn’t happy with the one she was in, but it was being used by Jennifer Lopez, who was on hand to promote her new album, It’s me nowand cinema, The greatest love story ever told. The report says Rowland was then offered several other options, but she instead chose to leave.

Rowland was on Today to promote his new film Mea culpa, a legal thriller in which she stars and produces. The film releases on Netflix on February 23. Ora, for his part, recently joined The Masked Singer as a panelist on season 11.
