Participating governments and host institutions, companies and foundations around the world also provide direct and indirect support to the program.

Since 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided more than 400,000 participants from more than 160 countries with opportunities to study, teach, and conduct research, through which fellows exchange cultural ideas and explore solutions to international concerns communities.
