Three Oakland athletes head to Hillsdale for last chance meet

ROCHESTER, Mich. – A trio of Golden Grizzlies are scheduled to participate in a last chance game at Hillsdale College tomorrow, May 8, at 10:30 a.m.

The group includes male athletes on the field Romario Jackson And Alex Mansfieldwith female athlete on track Grace Hungerford.

All three had standout performances at the Horizon League championships last weekend, as Jackson won a title in the discus throw, fifth place in the shot put and third place in the hamer throw. His teammate Mansfield also had impressive results, including a seventh place in the discus and a third in the shot put.

Hungerford shined on the track, winning silver in the women’s 400m hurdles after dominating her heat in the preliminary round. As all three athletes look to go the extra mile toward the NCAA Regional Championships, they look to continue adding to already sensational seasons in the black and gold.
