A Quiet Place: Day One trailer shows how our world has become silent

After teasing the release of the new trailer for the upcoming horror prequel, Paramount has just released the second official trailer for A Quiet Place: Day One. The film features that fateful day when the invasion began and the people of New York would struggle to deal with a deadly threat that attacks through sounds. The trailer appears to be the same one that premiered at CinemaCon this year, as the footage matches the description given by our own Lance Vlcek, who was in attendance.

While John Krasinski directed the previous two films, he produced A Quiet Place: Day One and entrusted the direction to Michael Sarnoski, director of the Nicolas Cage drama Pig (see here). Jeff Nichols (Midnight Special) was assigned to write and direct A Quiet Place: Day One for a time, but when he dropped out, he was replaced by Sarnoski.
