Meet Minarets High School’s New Baseball Coach |

O’NealsMinarets High School is proud to announce the hiring of Head Varsity Baseball Coach Jesse Darrah. Coach Darrah returns to Minarets Baseball after a brief 3 year hiatus.

He took the Mustangs to the Valley Championship finals two years in a row during the 2018-2019 and 2020-2021 seasons. His record for the 2017 to 2021 seasons was 71-25, which brings serious credibility to the Minarets Baseball program.

Under his leadership, he saw several players go on to D1 schools and scholarships, and countless others to Junior College programs.

A standout student at Fowler High School, he went on to pitch at Fresno Pacific University, was quickly drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks and pitched several seasons for the Rawhides in Visalia.

From there, he chose a career in education and had baseball in mind.

Coach Darrah is a highly respected head coach with deep roots in the Fresno and Mountain community. He is 34 years old and resides in Fresno.
