BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – A North Dakota parolee is back in prison after officers found about 1,000 fentanyl pills in his hotel room.

North Dakota parole and probation officers arrested the parolee May 3 in a Bismarck hotel room.

“DOCR parole officers continue to work hard to eliminate these dangerous substances from our communities,” said Tom Erhardt, Chief Parole and Probation Officer. “We will always respond with swift action when the behavior of a person under surveillance puts the community at risk. »

Parole, Probation and Pretrial Services agents participated in more than 400 investigations in 2023. Agents confiscated more than 16 pounds of narcotics and 37 illegal firearms.
