Caitlin Clark is quickly becoming a formidable presence on the WNBA court, much to the dismay of the league’s defenders and the preseason is only just beginning.

In a recent exhibition game on Thursday, Clark showed his talents with the Indiana fever against the Dream of Atlanta.

This marked her home debut in Indiana, where she did not disappoint the local fans. After a strong performance where she led her team with 21 points against the Dallas Wings, Clark continued his impressive streak.

“It was a lot of fun, I thought they were loud, I thought they were interested. It was fun to see,” Clark said.

“It’s a preseason game on a Thursday night and there’s 13,000 people here. I think that shows you what it’s going to be like for us all season. It’s going to help us.”

An impressive climax

During the first quarter of Thursday’s game, Clark demonstrated his skill and agility by effortlessly cutting four Dream defenders to go to the basket and make a lay-up.

“My biggest goal tonight was to continue to be myself and play aggressively,” Clark stressed after the match.

“I thought that’s what I did. I think that’s something to be proud of.

“The crowd was great all night. That’s what you expect with a full house. It’s going to be the same for the crowd all year. So whether they’re cheering for you or they’re cheering for you , you better get used to it.”
