Lettie G. Howard prepares for the upcoming season

A special delivery from Massachusetts was made to an iconic Erie landmark.

On Friday, crews could be seen on the bay hoisting the mast of the Lettie G. Howard.

A crane team was hard at work preparing the ship for the upcoming season.

Representatives said this is an ongoing process and they are unsure how long the full installation will take.
