ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO (WTRF) – Several area athletes qualified for the Ohio Division III Regional Track and Field meet with strong performances at Thursday’s district meet in St. Clairsville.

One of Thursday’s highlights was Shadyside’s Nathan Booth breaking the 35-year-old district record in the 110m hurdles. Booth crossed the finish line in 14.38, breaking the old mark of 14.43 set by Randy Rouse of Mingo Junction in 1989.

The top four finishers in each event qualify for next week’s regional tournament in Heath.
