Feil Organization announces the completion of renovation work on La Madeleine

METAIRIE, La (press release) – The Feil Organization is pleased to announce that the renovation of the Madeleine French Bakery and Café located in the heart of the Metairie shopping district at the corner of Severn Avenue and 17th Street is now finished. Originally opened in 1995, the 4,109 square foot location was the first Madeleine restaurant to open in the New Orleans metropolitan area.

The restaurant has been given a makeover with new tables, chairs, flooring, paint and lighting. The new patio features a fire pit, plush seating with bistro-style tables and chairs. Digital menu boards were installed and the new “order at the counter” style of service was incorporated into the new design.

Salon Callidora and Learning Express Toys & Gifts are also located on the property at 3300 Severn Avenue. Callidora Salon recently opened and offers specialized salon services including hair care, makeup, waxing and bridal services. Learning Express Toys & Gifts offers a large selection of unique, educational and classic toys plus free gift wrapping and curbside pickup.
