POTTSVILLE, Pa. — Firefighters spent hours battling a fire at a Pottsville business on May 23.

The fire broke out around 7 p.m. at a commercial building near the 600 block of East Market Street.

As firefighters battled the blaze, the building collapsed, narrowly missing firefighters below, WNEP reported.

All firefighters were found after the collapse. WFMZ said there were no injuries.

Two neighboring houses were damaged and 10 people were displaced.
