Infrastructure Africa and the African Infrastructure Developers Association (AfIDA) are proud to announce the launch of the Project Deal Room. The Projects Deal Room is a dynamic platform where project developers, investors, financiers and stakeholders converge to present infrastructure project development opportunities and to generate impact in terms of success rate and speed of delivery. execution of these crucial projects for the sustainable development of Africa. This is part of AfIDA’s highly effective Catapult Accelerator.

Facilitate collaboration on projects:

The Projects Deal Room is designed to facilitate collaboration and drive investment in vital infrastructure projects across the continent. Project developers from the private and public sectors will have the opportunity to showcase their initiatives, while investors and financiers will be able to explore potential investment opportunities that match their investment strategies.

Structured presentation sessions:

Eight project developers will be assigned one hour each, consisting of a 20-25 minute presentation followed by a 35-40 minute Q&A session with a group of mentors and the audience. This structured format ensures a comprehensive overview of the scope, potential impact and investment needs of each project.

AUDA-NEPAD nominations and call for developers:

Three projects have already been nominated by AUDA-NEPAD, highlighting the caliber and relevance of the initiatives presented in the Projects Deal Room. Additionally, a call to five other infrastructure project developers across the continent is attached, inviting all energy and infrastructure developers, regardless of stage or sub-sector, to participate.

Projects spanning various sectors including energy, water, transport, digital ICT, urban development and cities will be showcased in the Projects Deal Room. This diversity reflects the forum’s commitment to comprehensively addressing Africa’s infrastructure needs and fostering sustainable development across multiple sectors.

Encourage collaboration and innovation:

The Projects Deal Room serves as a catalyst for collaboration and innovation, bringing together stakeholders from across the infrastructure ecosystem to exchange ideas, forge partnerships and drive impactful initiatives that advance Africa’s development agenda .
